Copper Cuffs

Copper Cuffs

Safe, Natural, Proven Protection Against Hoof Bacteria and Fungus

Copper has been used to promote health in various ways since ancient times.

Copper ions from water runoff continually kill greater than 99.9% of bacteria and fungus. Copper salts from runoff can build up in hoof walls resulting in increased continual protection. They remain effective even after repeated wet and dry cycles. Copper Cuffs are safe to use and will not harm people, pets, or the environment. The copper never wears out. Natural tarnishing does NOT impair effectiveness.

How to Use:

  • Fasten Copper Cuffs to the pastern. They should fit loosely and comfortably.
  • Wash and rinse your horse. Copper Cuffs are most effective when applied before bathing or rinsing your horse. Water running down the legs through the copper kills fungus and bacteria and provides protection to the hoof.
  • Take them off or leave them on. Copper Cuffs can be left on indefinitely but at a minimum should be left on as the horse dries.

*With proper care, Copper Cuffs should last for years.*
